HOTANSA OPENS 8 NEW RESTAURANTS

Opening of 8 restaurants at the Illa Carlemany shopping centre (Escaldes)
Since 17 July, HOTANSA has embarked on a new adventure. In this case, we are speaking of the management of 8 restaurants in the new Illa Carlemany shopping centre. The establishments combine insignias that are well known in Andorra like PIZZA ROMA and brands of international renown like PANS & Company and Caffè Di Fiore (one on the ground floor and another on the 2nd floor). They are quick and varied offerings, ranging from fast food establishments to cafeterias and restaurants that have servers waiting on the tables.
With 5 cinema theatres, 600 parking spaces, Chiquipark (children’s play centre), a gymnasium, a 2600 m2 supermarket and commercial shops of 50 different establishment of worldwide recognition, the Illa Carlemany and its food court are becoming established as a new reference point in the Principality for everybody that visits us throughout the year.

Andorra Park Hotel gets the 2009 Best Hotel Award
On March 5, 2009, the Andorra Park Hotel welcomed the presentation of the 2009 Gourmand Guide of Catalonia, Andorra and Other Places of Interest.
La Grava in Morell (Tarragona) was designated the 2009 Restaurant of the Year in this event and the Andorra Park Hotel (Andorra) the 2009 Hotel of the Year. Joan Bosch, chef of the Can Bosch in Cambrils, handed out the supporting documents to the two enterprises.
Recognition was given for remodeling and expansion to attain what is now a reality: a modern luxury hotel in an incomparable setting in an emblematic building that conserves the original details and has all the convenience of a five-star hotel.
The 2009 XVIII Gourmand Guide provides extensive information about the best restaurants and hotels in Catalonia and Andorra and some in France, Spain and Monaco. It recommends over 600 establishments.

Hotansa collaborates with three entities in helping give aid to those countries and people most in need.
Fundación Equilibri helps provide stable work to a group of women in the Bolivian town of Chutahua.

Hotansa also collaborates with UNICEF in many programs to promote children's rights, help meet their basic needs and increase their opportunities, so they can develop their full potential.

Lastly, Hotansa works with Mountaineers for Himalaya Foundation to help in elementary education project development for children in the mountains of Nepal, Pakistan, Tibet, India and Bhutan.
